If I could give them a 0, I would. We ordered nearly 1000 flowers for our daughter's wedding. I was in touch with them for months beforehand, asking about when the flowers should arrive, etc. I checked my order and tracking numbers daily before the wedding. Well, the flowers got caught up in Customs, and no one at 50 Flowers could have cared less. No one answered the help line, the chat line, anything. We were utterly stranded with only 100 flowers the day before our daughter's wedding. Thankfully, we had used a local florist for some flowers, and she came through big time. The rest of our order came an hour before the rehearsal dinner for which we had ordered flowers. No one EVER called me. There were no other solutions presented (i.e., we can get you some American flowers tomorrow, or what have you). Despite their assurances that they would swoop in with help if anything went wrong, they ignored me. There was one rep who was so nice and said that I wouldn't have to pay for flowers if they didn't get there in time. As I was DRIVING TO THE CHURCH, I got a text message saying they weren't responsible for delays. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They completely screwed us.
UPDATE: Four days later, and I still have not received a call from customer support. Was on the help chat and was promised a call, apologies, etc., but no one has contacted me. They just don't care.
I used fiftyflowers.com for about ten years for a large annual event I produce and honestly, I was very happy with the quality of the flowers and of the service.
Recently I went to purchase flowers for a promotion at one of my restaurants and I was dismayed to see that the price quoted on the web page was not the actual price. They add an additional fee with little explanation and no way to opt out. If you click on the "details" link next to the charge you get a long-winded story about COVID19 and times being tough.
I contacted their customer service twice to see if I might opt out of this fee but they never responded. In my state, and probably most others, advertising a price for an item when the consumer cannot actually purchase the item at that price, as fiftyflowers.com does, is considered a deceptive trade practice and is illegal. It is sad that it will probably take some states Attorney General contacting them before they discontinue this practice.
I ordered two bouquets (one for me and one for a friend) and both were TERRIBLE! The first one was a day or two late and the flowers were extremely poor--half dead and not the colors they described or advertised. COMPLETE RIP OFF! The second batch to a friend was just as bad--completely embarrassing. Had to order again from a decent place. ESCAPE THIS LOUSY VENDOR AND SHOP ELSEWHERE!
My first order from this company came from Ecuador--after 5 dys in transit, the flowers were brown around rhe edges. I called the company, got credit, and, the next time, ordered the California Grow Box and, at their advice chose Weds. as my delivery day so the flowers could be overnighted FROM California.
I wrote on the order that I didn't care what day the flowers were delivered, I just wanted them to come from California and spend as little time in transit as possible.
Guess what? They again shipped from Ecuador. As other reviewers have noted, there is NO WAY flowers from Ecuador shipped on a Friday night and delivered on Wednesday will be fresh when they arrive.
But the flowers didn't arrive-- it is now 6 days later and no flowers. They can't be blamed for the weather, but they can be blamed for ignoring "California" and sending me something (what, I don't know!) from Ecuador, without asking first.
My guess is that when or rather if they finally arrive, they will be dead. So, I will not be ordering from them again. What was supposed to be a treat turned into a frustrating annoyance.
Horrible customer service, ordered 200 Pink flowers & used the websites delivery quote tool. After placing the order I received a text message the next day that they no longer had Pink roses in stock & I would need to change color in order to receive by my event date. I was told only color available was white. I wasn't offered a refund, and they placed the order on 200 white flowers to get by my event date. It is currently 3 days past my event date and I still have no flowers white or pink. Company thinks that issuing store credit to order more products will solve customers issues. I had to spend $350 at local shop to fulfill my own order on time. Buyer beware colors you order you might not get & you definitely might not get them on time.
Beautiful! I ordered 3 large enchanted centerpieces as a test run and was so impressed by how everything came together. The flowers were neatly packaged and it only took a day for them to start blooming. I'm so happy with how they turned out and will be ordering again for my wedding.
The flowers arrived perfect with instructions available on how to store and protect them. Customer service was amazing to work. Having a number to text was perfect. I would highly recommend
Flowers were a no show 2 orders in a row. Dont chance it.
Do not order any fresh flowers from this company. They are getting their flowers from Ecuador. You will never get anything fresh or on time. We ordered fresh flowers earlier May for a birthday, We received it after 5 days, dead flowers. They promised a full refund, we will see about that yet. They never tell you that the flowers are coming from Ecuador. It is impossible to get anything fresh from Ecuador to the USA. It was a total failure and disappointment. We will never ever use their services again. However, we learned our lesson, from now on before purchasing we will ask where the flowers are coming from.
I recieved roses from my son for Mother's Day. I was so excited until I opened the box. The flowers were to be all one color, for one large centerpiece. I received two different colors, but the worst part was most of the outside pedals had turned yellow and ugly and the greenery was smashed and broken. I would absolutely never recommend this company. I felt bad having to tell my son and send him pictures because I knew he would be so disappointed.
